Calm and Collective

Hey Dolls

Love is in the AIR, How's everyone doing? Great? Me too. I'm thankful for life and to be healthy and to have positive and close people I care about around me. Somebody will always try to steal your shine, and glory REMEMBER THAT. Stay positive and Thankful!

Lets get into this OOTD. I am wearing my favorite summer dress, its elegant but also comfortable and stylish. It's not like those grandma looking dresses with the weirdest patterns and colors. I forgot exactly where I bought this dress but I think it was under $20 and at a store like Forever 21. Shoes are regular flats, and of course my SUMMER hat. If anybody knows what the "Swap Shop" is that's exactly where I got it from I paid like $10 for it! I've been looking for this type of hat since Fall season. I was actually really looking for the bamboo suede hats but I still can't find that particular hat anywhere! But as I said before I'm grateful for what I do have. BE GREAT and hoped you enjoyed reading!

Spunky Chick from the Country

Fashion has always been a repetition of ideas, but what makes it new it how you put it together

SHOES: Timberland (Sawgrass Mall, FL)

BOTTOMS: Denim tie dye Shorts (Thrift Store)

SOCKS: Below the knee socks (Walmart)

HAT: Tan Bucket Hat (Hollister)

TOP: Red plaid button up (Sawgrass Mall)

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!

So many things have been going on in the last few weeks such as the Mike Ferguson trial and other many other youth related murders, it just remind me of how thankful I am just for life. This thanksgiving I wasn't worried about eating turkey or mac and cheese. All I could think of was showing the people I care for I too care for them. Sometimes even I forget to acknowledge those around me that matter to me I'm thankful for. We may get caught up in our own personal issues but we can't forget to give thanks. The least we can do is try to give thanks to those who deserve thanks everyday once a year on Thanksgiving Day.

Now that I rambled a little bit about my Thanksgiving, lets get to the fun part! This look of the day was very risk taking, it was the perfect look for me because I can be a risk taker at times. The perfect time to be risk taker is around the holidays because no one is actually concerned about what your wearing, so if someone does notice your outfit, you did a great job! Lol

In my look of they day I wore the classic timberland boots I purchased from the Sawgrass Mall in Broward County. I haven't worn timberlands since I was in middle school and ever since then I've been dying to buy me a pair. My original intentions was to wear them out of town but since those plans didn't go through I decided to wear them on good old Thanksgiving. They were $104 after I received a discount of like $12 so I was super ecstatic about that! My shorts were from the Thrift store for only $4. Top plaid button up was from a store in the Sawgrass Mall, FL for $12, and socks were less then a $1 at Walmart. All these colors ended up flowing together and it made the perfect Thanksgiving night outfit.

White Cinnamon

Simplicity is the key note of all true elegance - CoCo Chanel

Belt: Black loop belt (Unknown)

Shirt: White Knit long sleeve shirt

Pants: Cinnamon skinny jeans (Thrift Store)

Boots: Black metallic knee high boots (Thrift Store)

Hello my loves, Happy Thursday! Lol .

Todays "Look of the Day" is inspired by all my gorgeous ladies that like to keep it simple and sexy. My boots were the biggest asset to me in this look because without them this would have been an outfit I would have wore to school, but because I have my hooker boots on this is more of a going out look. Going to a lunch date, a casual event such as a football game or a lounge. Its a look you can wear at night or doing the day. I collaborated the colors cinnamon brown and a tan loose shirt/sweater. The weather today in Florida was like 70 degrees, or at least it felt like it. The sun was shining but the light breeze that was flowing threw the knit of my sweater made it the perfect feeling against my skin.

I purchased my shirt, pants, and shoes from my local thrift store located at the Lauderhill Mall. Shirt cost $2-3, pants cost about $5-7, while the shoes cost $8. Cheap yes, but the quality is unbeatable.
